Salicylic Acid Peel
20% Salicylic Acid is an oil soluble BHA providing deeper exfoliation helping to minimise excess oil and lift debris to clarify skin. Salicylic acid can be used for problematic skin, ageing skin to improve texture, sundamage and to treat pigmentation. Salicylic acid is the only acid that works within the skins pore to effectively treat congested and problematic skins.

Acne treatment
Salicylic acid is the only acid that works within the pore, unplugging dead skin and built up oils and dirt trapped in the pore. This also makes salicylic acid great for ingrown hairs
Exfoliates the skin
Exfoliates congested skin by breaking down the glue that holds dead skin cells together
Anti Inflammation
Salicylic acid works as an anti inflammatory that aids in the treatment of inflamed acne and ingrown hairs
How does it work?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before applying the Salicylic Peel. The peel will be applied to your skin allowing the active ingredients to be absorbed into the skin. This peel is self neutralising. A balm is applied.

Is the treatment painful?
You may experience some tingling which will subside as the peel neutralises. This peel can be a little uncomfortable for some, expect a 3-4/10.
Are there any risks associated with the treatment?
Dryness and flaking a few days after treatment. This treatment is not suitable for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How many treatments will I need?
Best results will be seen after 3 treatments at 3-4 week intervals.
What should I do before and after my treatment?
You will be prescribed a vitamin A to use 2 – 4 weeks prior to treatment by one of our clinicians to prepare your skin for peeling to avoid any adverse reactions. The use of SPF and sun compliance will be required.
What can I expect after my treatment?
Slightly pink skin. You may experience flaking skin 3 days after your peel which can be covered with mineral makeup, with full recovery at 5 days
What aftercare would I need?
Post Treatment: We will guide you on the use of homecare after your treatment to promote the healing phase of your skin.
